Accompanying the impressive snap was a caption reading: 'Just closed the deal on my new house and can't wait to move out of CALI ‼ AMERICA!!!!! (sic)'
Rob was born in California and the majority of his immediate family are based in the state - with his mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kourtney, Khloé, and Kim Kardashian living in the same gated community in Calabasas, California.
The reality star, who is expecting a baby girl with fiancée Blac Chyna, splashed out $2.285 million earlier this year on a home in the same neighbourhood as his family yet has now splashed out again.
The new image on social media is reportedly that of a mansion on the other side of America in Southampton, a village in the state of New York which makes up part of the Hamptons.
His new home, boasting nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms, is said to be worth an eye-watering sum and will no doubt be the base for his growing family
Blac and Rob announced they were having a baby in May, after revealing their engagement, after three months of dating, via Instagram one month earlier.
Blac was seen at the Penthouse nightclub in Hollywood on Sunday night to watch the screening of the season premiere of the couple's new reality show - during which they learned they were having a baby girl.
The Kardashian stated his preference for a boy on camera before learning he was having a girl with his fiancee. 'Rob, it's a girl!,' exclaimed Chyna who has a son King Cairo with ex fiance Tyga.
'I'm just happy the baby is healthy and I'm super happy I'm having a girl,' Rob said during a confessional on Rob & Chyna.
