Speaking on Tuesday, Guardiola said: “He must apologise to his team-mates. He must apologise to the club. If he doesn’t, he won’t play.”
It is believed that Guardiola wants the 33-year-old to apologize for his agent Dimitri Seluk’s remarks which said that he had been “humiliated” by being left out of the club’s Champions League squad.
Seluk also said that Guardiola should apologize to the midfield maestro if Manchester City failed to win the competition without him.
This is the second fall out between Toure and Guardiola, the first being in 2010 when they were both at Spanish giants Barcelona. Toure left the Catalans for City after their relationship soared.
