Caitlyn Jenner is going for gold on the new cover of Sports Illustrated.
The star proudly poses with the gold medal she won with a stunning decathlon victory at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games – with the SI cover marking the first time she's had the medal around her neck in 40 years.
"It's a picture that brings attention to this issue," Jenner told SI of why she posed with the medal 40 years after appearing as Bruce on the cover. "That's the important thing. That's why I wore the medal."

Jenner, who keeps the medal in her nail drawer, revealed that she used to let her children take the medal to show and tell in school.
"You know what it's good for? Show and tell. It was a big hit at show and tell with all the kids growing up," said Jenner, 66.
Despite all of the accolades she earned as Bruce, Jenner says her work now as a transgender advocate has more meaning for her than athletic glory.
"Sports. It's not real life," she told SI". "You go out there, you work hard, you train your ass off, win the Games. I'm very proud of that part of my life. And it's not like I just want to throw it out. It's part of who I am. What I'm dealing with now, this is about who you are as a human being. What did I do for the world in 1976, besides maybe getting a few people to exercise a little bit? I didn't make a difference in the world."
