Jennifer Lopez knows that her 8-year-old twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony have little chance at a normal life, but she’s figured out ways to keep them grounded.
“I’m not normal, so our life is not normal,” J.Lo tells Fox 5 New York’s Rosanna Scotto in an upcoming interview. “I’ve come to terms with that.”
Despite that realization, the GRAMMY winner, who is currently in residence at the AXIS Theater in Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, prides herself on finding time to be a hands-on mom to Maximilian and Emme despite her hectic schedule and frequent traveling.
“I want to be there with them,” Lopez says. “I don’t want to miss it. It’s going to go so fast.”
One approach to keeping the little tykes close is the occasional homeschooling session.
“They are super happy, well-adjusted, loving, caring kids, and that’s the most important thing,” she explains. “We’ll get them educated. Homeschool is great for them when we have to do it. The most important thing is that they’re with their mom – that they don’t feel abandoned by a parent
